Caring for Your PNW Hoodies & Sweatshirts - Pac Nor Westy

We use the softest fabrics made in the USA for our hoodies and sweatshirts. Just like anything soft, there are some tips and tricks to keeping your goods looking and feeling their best for many wears to come.

    1. Drawstrings: Before washing any hoodie with drawstrings, be sure to tie the drawstrings together to avoid them pulling out of the hood. Trying to fish a hoodie drawstring back into its hood is no way to spend an afternoon.
    2. Wash Inside Out: Be sure to wash your sweatshirt or hoodie inside out. This will do two things: protect the graphic from abrasion and also the fabric itself.
    3. Pilling: Anything soft and cozy is bound to develop pilling over time. The good news with our hoodies is that this pilling usually calms down after a few washes. We recommend investing in a sweater shaver for all of your cozy sweaters, hoodies, and sweatshirts. They're available at most department stores and also online.
    4. Wash Cold - Dry Low: Washing on a low temperature and drying on low will help keep your hoodies looking crisp while minimizing the risk of any shrinkage or shape distortion.

Following these care tips will keep your PNW goods adventure ready for seasons to come!
